Justin has studied cello for five years. He receives his instruction from Alan Weinstein, Professor of Music at Virginia Tech and member of the Kandinsky Trio.
Justin is Principle Cellist with The Roanoke Symphony's Youth Orchestra. He has attended the Music Institute at Ferrum College for the past seven years. He placed 2nd in the Youth Symphony's Young Artist Competition in 2008 and in 2006.
In 2009, he placed first in the regional Lions Club Bland Competition. He won 6th Place in the State Level. In 2007, he placed first in a Sonata Festival at East Tennessee State University.
Justin has performed in masterclasses with Zuill Bailey and Hans Jorgan-Jensen. He plans a career as a professional cellist. Justin provides music for his local church and local non-profit organizations and nursing homes. Justin is available to teach cello to beginning students.
